Convening
On the record and off, in settings built for open exchange across service and sector.
A public forum for the leaders who shape American Air, Space, and Intelligence Power to tackle the nation's hardest questions, find common ground, and commit to solutions together.
An independent, nonpartisan educational organization.
Today's world is increasingly shaped by the twenty four hour news cycle, polarization of the political class, and the relentless churn of social media. Together, these forces erode the personal connections and relationships that are so important to our society's enduring success. And yet, at the individual level, the evidence is clear: what divides us is far outweighed by the common beliefs and values we share.
American Air, Space, and Intelligence Power is built on the foundation of service before self, a core principle that reminds us we are strongest when we orient around our common beliefs and values. In a world that tempts us to zoom out, we must instead zoom in. Our future leaders need to see that by building trusting relationships and promoting dialogue, we can disagree, commit, and achieve remarkable things. PAS Institute exists to model this imperative, and American Air, Space, and Intelligence Power is the lens through which we will do it.
"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." Henry Ford
It gives senior leaders a public forum to tackle the nation's toughest challenges, to find common ground, and to coalesce around ideas that reflect the common beliefs and values we share. The Institute draws on the legacy of Partners in Air and Space, established 2001.

PAS Institute was built to close a culture and communications gap between the people who build American air, space, and intelligence power and the policymakers who shape it. A quarter century of work in that world made the gap plain, and made the case for a place to bridge it. More recently a second gap has opened: an erosion in our country's ability to solve problems together through civil discourse and public engagement. The Institute is the answer to both, a neutral table where the people who build the mission and the people who fund and govern it can reason together.
